The Qualification Training Department activity is specified on methodical assistance to the organization of combat preparation in units and departments according to program and planning on combat and social-political preparation of the Special State Protection Department, holding different special and sport events, improving financial-technical and scientific–methodical bases.

Qualification Training Department consists of managerial staff, combat training section and training centre.

Qualification Training Department holds the following trainings with departments, units of Special State Protection Service.

• Body-guard courses with personnel of Presidential Security Department and Personal Protection Department.
• Special improvement courses with Special Forces.
• Initial qualification training courses with personnel of post patrol service
• Initial qualification courses with young militants of Export Oil Gas Pipeline Protection Department.
• Methodical-training meetings with training groups’ leaders.
• Special training meetings with sniper specialists, shotgun shooters and anti tank grenade shooters.
